New Icelandair Flights for 2012 Summer Season

This year Icelandair celebrates 75 years of aviation and the 2012 Icelandair network boasts the largest schedule in its 75 history. Icelandair will operate more departures from North America, including year-round service from Denver International Airport, starting May 11, 2012, extended seasonal service from Washington D.C, and more flights from New York. Icelandair will also offer expanded service to Europe with flights to both London Heathrow and recently added London Gatwick.

As part of Icelandair’s growing summer schedule, seasonal flights from Toronto Pearson International began on March 28th and Washington, D.C. on March 29th. Icelandair offers up to six flights per week from Washington-Dulles with service running through January 8, 2013, resuming in spring 2013. Flights from Toronto will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with service running through November 4, 2012. Service from Toronto will then resume on March 22, 2013. For our Washington, D.C. passengers, The Air France Business Lounge is open to all Icelandair Saga and Economy Comfort class passengers traveling through Washington-Dulles.

Icelandair’s seasonal flights from Minneapolis - St. Paul will resume on May 15, 2012 and Halifax will resume on June 7, 2012 with up to 3 flights per week through October 8, 2012 returning in the spring of 2013.
