American Airlines has announced a number of new or enhanced schedules as part of the new codeshare arrangement between American, Iberia and British Airways, all members of oneworld. The new codeshare partnership between American, Iberia and British Airways provides more routing and schedule options for your clients, as they have re-worked all three companies’ schedules to spread them out through the day, where before they all had flights leaving within minutes of each other from several of the more popular origin/destination cities.
American announced today a new, daily nonstop service between Los Angeles and Shanghai. American has also added another daily nonstop route between New York and Budapest, Hungary, effective today. The carrier will increase flights between New York (JFK) and Barcelona from seven to 11 weekly flights beginning in early April and and increase service from Miami to Madrid from seven to 13 nonstop flights per week beginning on April 6. On May 1, flights will begin operating between Chicago and Helsinki, Finland.
In addition, American will bring back its seasonal service between New York and Manchester, Chicago and Dublin, and Boston and Paris.
