Continental Airlines, which has ordered 25 of Boeing’s next-generation 787 Dreamliners, said it is now the world’s first airline to announce specific route plans for the new plane. Continental said it will launch non-stop 787 service on November 16, 2011, between its Houston hub and Auckland, New Zealand; the 7,400-mile route would be Continental’s longest yet from Houston Bush Continental said the 787 flights to Auckland will go on sale later this year.
