All flights were canceled into and out of Athens’ airport when air traffic controllers walked off the job Wednesday as part of a nationwide strike, Bloomberg News reported. This is the third nationwide strike for Greece this year. The people are protesting higher taxes and slashed wages and pensions for public workers in the debt-wracked country. The austerity measures accompany a $143 billion bailout from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund.
